Introducing Consonant Skin Care at Felix

Sometimes it can be a challenge to love the skin you’re in. When you’re dealing with adult acne, it’s overwhelming (and exhausting) to sort through thousands of products and recommendations to find something that works for you.

That’s why we’re thrilled to share that we’ve partnered with fellow Canadian brand Consonant to offer the Felix X Consonant Acne Edit. Our advising dermatologist, Dr. Nowell Solish, curated three Consonant products to complement our prescription acne treatments:

  1. Natural Foaming Face Wash. This 3-in-1 cleanser, makeup remover, and toner is ideally suited for acne-prone skin. Made with a coconut surfactant, niacinamide, and ginseng root extract, this innovative face wash controls oil, boosts clarity, and improves the appearance of acne scars.
  2. Balancing Face Cream. Packed with nourishing botanicals and grape and flaxseed oils, this lightweight face cream reduces redness and hydrates skin; combatting any drying effects of acne medication without clogging pores.
  3. The Perfect Sunscreen. A 100% mineral-based sunscreen with broad-spectrum SPF 30. As many acne treatments
increase skin sensitivity to UV light, sun protection is crucial. Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide help protect the skin while organic, cold-pressed aloe leaf juice and grape seed oil add light moisturization.

This new partnership between Felix and Consonant brings a fragrance-free skin-care regimen right to your door alongside your acne treatment. When using prescriptions for acne-prone skin, the right skin-care routine is non-negotiable — including a moisturizer that balances the drying effects of acne medication and a daily sunscreen to protect UV-sensitive skin.

Like Felix, Consonant believes that wellness is more than just one product or treatment. When you visit the doctor, they often suggest non-medical solutions to accompany your prescription (meditation alongside anxiety medication or a neti pot to go with allergy pills, for example). This is an extension of that in the digital health space — only we save you the extra trip by delivering everything to your door.

How it works

Adding to a new prescription

Once you finish answering the medical questions during your visit, you’ll be able to select any of the three options. Adding skin-care products to your prescription is simple, and completely integrated into the Felix online assessment process.

1. Complete your Felix medical assessment

2. Select any over-the-counter products to add to your prescription

3. Proceed to shipping and checkout

This marriage of medical and non-medical treatments is the first of many upcoming wellness partnerships for Felix. We can’t wait to continue sharing as our service continues to evolve.
